No Jumping For Puppies
(Continued on Page 2)

Hey! Me again. King Arthur at your service...

I need to talk seriously with you for a minute or two about keeping your puppy healthy. This means No Jumping Allowed!
Please allow me to explain...

In this picture I'm about 3 months old.

My head is about a foot over the mantle.

The mantle is probably 4½ foot from the floor.

I was only little. But I could fly!

When my human Mum & Dad realized I could do this stuff they couldn't believe it. They'd never seen anything like it.

They loved it. And I loved it too.

They'd throw my little rubber frisbee and I'd spring into the air and catch it nearly every time. In less than a second I'd be back at their side for them to do it again and again and...

They took all kinds of photos of me flying through the air. They were so proud of me that they emailed those pictures to some professional competition(type) frisbee dog owners.

Fortunately the people that received those photos knew a bit more about border collies than my Mum & Dad did at that point.

Instead of writing back with best wishes and cool tips'n'tricks on how to get a frisbee-dog to do even cooler frisbee stuff, they wrote back angry and upset. Mum and Dad were scolded for allowing me to jump before my ligaments/tendons/bones/cartlidge had fully formed.

And rightly so!
